I wish to thank you for you and your colleagues for your input and excellent delivery of the CADE Restorative course. I am pleased that you advised that I “check out the website” in June last year.
I found the whole modular course really interesting and informative, perfect for any GDP wishing to extend their knowledge and skills in restorative techniques and laboratory requirements.
The course was ideal for me as it was set in a smaller venue and group than the previous ‘restorative based’ courses that I have attended. The environment was relaxed where every participant was encouraged to discuss within the group, their existing knowledge, clinical cases and uncertainties, but in a friendly, uncritical, unpressured way…. A very effective and subtle way of lecturing.
I have benefited from being on the course by gaining new skills in treatment planning, understanding and applying aspects of occlusion and TMD which I found confusing before. I particularly enjoyed the ‘hands-on’ prep days and smile analysis and have become almost decent at clinical photography.
As a result of completing the course I have more confidence in discussing the benefits of treatment and delivering treatment to patients, and now I am focusing on and thinking about a range of dentistry which was once outside my comfort zone.
